Conference on business innovations

Hindustan College of Arts and Science turned a venue to host international conference on emerging trends and innovations in global business recently.

Sources say the conference was held to mark the silver jubilee celebrations of the college. Inaugurating the conference Paul J Dryden, deputy head of mission, British Deputy High Commission addressing the students said ‘you’re the precipice of your life, you’re the horizon of the life and may be you feel the pressure of academics and family and expectations and you just say The West doesn’t have many things that Chennai has, the West doesn’t have a deep sense of hospitality and care and honour. ..You would start to discern what you are pursuing what you are chasing after but might I suggest that everyone has something to pursue in your life.

The conference had technical sessions on human relations management, marketing, finance and systems. Souvenir of the conference was released by Mrs Elizabeth Varghese, chairperson, Hindustan group of institutions. K. Malarvizhi, dean, Business Studies spoke about the objective of the conference. Jacob Atchely, Business Development Consultant, Mason and Barry, Inc, USA also spoke.
