Conference talks about biz management

Business management and emerging trends in it became the talk of the town at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) campus at Vadapalani in Chennai on August 9.
First national conference on Emerging Approaches in Business Management-Divergent Perspectives and Dimensions (NCEABM’19) dealt in detail about various issues regaring business management.
Inaugurating the seminar organised by Department of Management Studies of SRMIST, Vadapalani, Gopal Mahadevan, WTD and CFO, Ashok Leyland Ltd. said that organizations have to undergo transformation over time to be successful. He spoke about the power of digitization and consumer behavioral pattern for reaching customers efficiently.
He said four growth pointers are having a basic understanding on the recent
technology, building up one’s network, keeping in touch with what’s happening in the world and to ensure that one works hard.
Dr. V.M.Ponniah, dean, faculty of management, SRMIST said improving competency is an issue emerging youngsters must focus on. He said everyone has equal opportunities but proper prioritization is what gets us closer to our goal. Head of department of Management Studies Dr. S.Kesavan welcomed the gathering.
