Ethiraj College of Women inaugurates “Adoption of Villages”

The project “Adoption of Villages”- Nemilicheri and Karunagaracheri near Avadi was successfully inaugurated by Ethiraj College for Women on 25th October 2017 in the presence of Tmt E. Sundaravalli who is the IAS, District Collector, Thiru. K. Pandiarajan from the Ministry of Tamil Official Language and Archealogy, Director of Mafoi Foundation- Tmt.Latha Pandiarajan along with the Chairman of Ethiraj College Trust, Thiru V.M. Muralidharan. The Principal & Secretary, Ethiraj College for Women, Dr. A. Nirmala addressed the gathering by telling about the project and its highlights. The Foundation stone was laid for the installation of RO Plant, followed by planting of tree saplings, distribution of writing materials for school children and first aid kits for the villagers and a Dengue Awareness Programme was presented by the NSS Students.
