Learning at Hackathon to make world a better place!

Second Edition of a 36 hour development fest SRM Hackathon was organised by the IT Association of SRM University on 6 th and 7 th October 2017 which provides a good platform to see the innovative and creative proficiencies in the participants with a technical outlook. This year Dr. Srini Ramaswamy, Software Technology Manager in a MNC ABB Technologies in USA was invited as a Chief Guest along with Mr. Mahesh Natarajan, Senior Director at Capegemini, Mr. Devanshu Shukla, Founder at HackVeda, Delhi and Mr. Senthamil Ilango, Senior Software Development Manager, Amazon. in the panel to judge the SRM Hackathon. With unique theme selection based on daily life issues and necessities 150 applicants are selected out of 1500 registrations with every edition the Hackathon serves as a great learning experience and exposure to students where they learn to develop the products which can solve the real world issues to help and make the world a better place to live in with exciting reinforcements and prizes to the winners and participants of SRM Hackathon, which this year was up to Rs. 8 Lakhs.
