Light the fire in you, let it show the way
I had the fortune of observing the former President from close quarters, said Ramesh Pokhriyal. He launched one of his books ‘Ae-Watan-Tere-Liye’ in the past, he reminded. Former President Abdul Kalam had a vision for India and he had a great regard for the youth. The present fest began about 13 years ago after being inaugurated by the great man who was also known as a great scientist.
This fest is like the first ray of the sun which invokes our conscience, students who are the part of the techno-management fest are also like the first ray of hope of our nation. They are the future of this country. Students have worked out wonderfully, they came out with innovations here, they will benefit various sectors, be it defense or agriculture or any other sector, he said.
You students who came out with innovations, your ideas are great, they are greater than education itself. Dream big to become big, rest not till the dreams are fulfilled. Founder chancellor of SRMIST Dr T.R.Paarivendhar said Aarush is a project where student involvement is seen, this is a venue where students display their talent. He said this event is a major one, SRMIST has achievements to their credit like this, one of them is the satellite designed by them. It is still under rotation, he said.
President of SRMIST P. Sathyanarayanan said Aarush is an event handled by students completely. It is totally done by students right from conceptualization to implementation. And, is also an apt venue for students to find their careers and commence their startup ventures, he said. Vice-chancellor of SRMIST Sandeep Sancheti, SRMIST registrar N. Sethuraman were among others present.
