NLCIL Director honored

Mr R.Vikraman, Director (HR), NLCIL India Ltd was honored with the “Treasure Trove of Knowledge Award 2018” (Ariviyal Kalanjiyam) at  a felicitation ceremony organized by Mylai Thiruvalluvar Tamil Sangam in association with NYK, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India and the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Chennai recently. The award is jointly instituted by the Mylai Thiruvalluvar Tamil Sangam(MTS), Nehru Yuvakendra & Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in appreciation of Mr R.Vikraman’s contributions to the Thermal Power Projects, niche innovative approach, and initiatives in corporate and group head assignments in HR.

As a Mechanical Engineer at NLCIL, Shri R. Vikraman is involved in booming construction, commissioning and operation of Thermal Power Station-II- Stage-II project without time and cost overrun. After switching over his line of service from Engineering to Management, he had been at the helm of affairs of Corporate HR department for over ten years, bringing in a number of innovations worth mentioning.

The Ariviyal Kalanjiyam award was received from Dr M. Ponnavaikko, Former Vice-Chancellor, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli in the presence of Shri K.N Ramsamy, Director Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, and Dr Cheyon, Secretary, MTS during the celebrations of 32nd Anniversary of Mylai Thiruvalluvar Tamil Sangam.
