IIT-M student turns nostalgic, comes out with a novel

The moment turned nostalgic on the premises of Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) recently as its alumni went ahead to launch her book.
Rituparna Ghosh, student of Department of Management Studies at IIT-M of 2005 batch came out with the novel ‘Unloved in Love.’ Novel launched by Professor G. Arun Kumar, Head, Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras on 3 December deals with emotional turmoil students experience while choosing between relationships and career.
Arun Kumar said there were times when he had seen the author (Rituparna Ghosh) as a student. Now I am seeing her as an author. It is an incredible story of personal growth and am glad she has come back to her alma mater to start her new journey, he said.
The two years in IIT has been the best in my life. The whole experience has not only taught me business acumen, but also fundamentals to living life, said Rituparna.
‘It is indeed a proud moment for me to come back to my alma mater and launch my first book.’ The book is being published by publishing house, Readomania, founded by Dipankar Mukherjee who is a former student of the department in IIT-Madras where the author belongs to.
