The Indian Army, like no other

The dedication, determination and doughtiness with which our Indian Soldiers serve their oppressive responsibility of protecting our national territory is comparable to none. No one better than their are entitled to be addressed as ā€˜The real hero’sā€™.

Our Indian Army is the second largest army in the world with about 1.23 million personnel on active rolls and another 9.6 lakh in reserves. The Indian Army is especially responsible for protecting the country against land-based attacks. It also benefits other agencies to deal with terrorism, to deal with emergency situations in the country and to protect people life in circumstance of natural disasters like floods, earthquakes etc. It would not be wrong to say that there would be no India without the Indian Army, it is the backbone of the country.

If anything really goes wrong in the country, then we look to the army for solutions, be it riot control, counter terrorism, fight terrorism, fight Naxalites and even medals in international sports events.

Existence of a soldier functions on the theme of ā€œNation Firstā€. He sacrifices his life for the security of the nationā€™s pride. He is a genuine nationalist and is always prepared to lay down his life in the duty of motherland.

For them, the countryā€™s safety is their first preference. Indian Army not only fights in the war but also take care of theĀ rescue operationsĀ when natural calamities happen like cyclones, earthquake, flood etc. They live for others and assume the country as one big family of theirs. The strength, spirit of companionship and brotherhood, irrespective of religion, caste and creed, inculcate this courage to even face bullets, embracing death to evolve immortal for all the time in all soldiers of Indian Army. Every Indian should constantly establish a good and courageous mentality towards our national heroes and respect their sacrificing work.

The Indian Army arose from armies of the East India Company’s which at last came to be the British Indian Army and the Princely States Army, which after its independence in 1947, was incorporated into the National Army of India. The units of the Indian Army have combated many wars in the past where they earned the honour for the country with their heroism. The Indian Army has the solitary purpose of conserving the nation from any foreign assault that arises, guaranteeing the nation’s security. They are the caretakers of the nation and safeguard its citizens at all costs.Ā They are presumed to fulfil difficult responsibilities and possess extraordinary personalities to become an enormous soldier. However, their lives are extremely difficult. Nonetheless, they constantly fulfil their responsibilities despite the difficulties. A country sleeps peacefully as the soldier completes its commitments. The first and supreme responsibility of a soldier is to serve their country without any greedy intention. A person usually joins the army out of love for his country and to conserve it. Even though they understand they will have to encounter various difficulties, they still perform for their country.
