Unprovoked firing, Indian soldier turns martyr

Lance Naik Krishan Lal of Indian Army attained martyrdom in the process of exchanging fire between Indian and Pakistani troops at Line of Control (LOC) in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation on July 30, in the efforts to return the fire the brave soldier turned martyr. Lance Naik Kishan Lal is a native of Ghariyal, a village in Jammu district of Jammu and Kashmir and he is survived by his wife Shashi Devi.

Naik Krishan Lal was a brave, highly motivated and sincere soldier. The Nation will always remain indebted to him for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty.
