Art of Living blossoms in Sri City

Sri City wore a colourful look recently when Art of Living Foundation (AOLF) inaugurated its centre on the premises amidst much fanfare.

Former president of AOLF Akhila Srinivasan inaugurated the centre. She highlighted the importance of meditation in getting rid of stress. Practising simple yoga procedures for about 20 minutes in a day can bestow us happiness, she said.
She requested all the industrial units to patronise the Art of Living Centre in Sri City and derive the well being of their workforce.

Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, founder managing director, Sri City thanked the Art of Living team for choosing Sri City for setting up the centre.

Meditation centre of this kind will certainly enhance the ecosystem for a peaceful and harmonious living at this place.

Sri City has a right mix of public, including the busy executives, expats, industrial experts, students, family members, and rural population in the vicinity.

I am sure, this centre will be a boon to the entire community he said. Smita, expert on Art of living for corporate executives spoke on the importance of yoga, meditation, and taught a few breathing techniques.

The Art of Living meditation centre is located at  block ‘A’ of Creekside Apartments, on the Central Express Way and Mr. Narendra, will be the instructor at the centre.

Founded in 1981 under the guidance of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, AOLF operates in 156 countries across the world. It is a non-profit, educational and humanitarian organisation guided by the philosophy that stress-free mind and a violence-free society can achieve world peace.
