CELEBRATED WOMEN’S DAY IN AN UNIQUE WAY FOR A NOBLE CAUSE

The management, staff members and inmates of The Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children situated at Halls Road, Egmore, Chennai witnessed the significant gesture of gratitude and honour to these compassionate and hard working nurses who take care of our babies by a group of women who were belongs the members of Inner Wheel Club of Madras Mid town headed by its President Ms. Uma.
The ceremony was organized in the august presence of Ms. Padma Preetha Sumanth, District Chairman of Inner wheel District 323., Dr. A. T. Arasarseeralar, Director of the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children and Dr. V. S. Krishnakumari, M.D., D.C.H. Former Director of The Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children.
On International women’s day celebration week, the women of Inner Wheel Club of Madras Midtown headed by President Uma did what women do best- sharing, caring and giving.
On this occasion after honoring the nurses who hard working with dedication, the students of Chennai Middle School, Nungambakkam were given stainless steel lunch boxes sponsored by its member Ms. Usha Bothra, and school bags sponsored by Ms. Suchi and a box of sweets by the members of the club.
The students cheerfully received their school bags and lunch boxes and we are sure that these little incentives will go a long way in creating enthusiasm towards school going and academics. This school indeed has students who are receptive and responsive.
The principal too expressed her gratitude towards the club and seemed kind and efficient, giving everyone a hope for a brighter future for the children of the school, especially for Ms. Usha Bothra who sponsored lunch boxes and Ms. Suchi who sponsored school bags.
The members in large numbers were gathered from other Inner wheel Clubs besides Madras Midtown are from Inner Wheel Club of Adyar, Chennai Phoenix, Chennai Presidency, Chennai Symphony, and Chennai Verve to make the event in a grand manner for a noble cause.
