In the direction of Kookie Gulati, featuring Hemant Shah (Abhishek Bachchan) a middle-class man with big dreams from rags to riches. A small-time stockbroker, a middle-class man with the dream to own a house in the middle of Delhi. With a combination of calculative mind and ups and downs in the stock market. When only three things that matter MONEY, RESPECT AND POWER.

The movie is based on the real-life of a broker and the life journey from the ground to the hights. The movie starts with showing Hemant as a rich man with a glare on his face and then the very next moment we are in a government office where Hemant works as a middle-class man on the salary of just 12000/month. A man enters the office and tells Hemant that his son will no longer study in this school, as he got admission to a good private school. Hemant in a shock asked the man how did he get so much money to take such a long leap. There comes the idea of the stock market as the man told him about the stocks of Bombay Textiles and the future prices of that stocks. The beginning of the journey has just begun, he asks his assistant to gather the information and the financial closings of the company (Bombay Textiles). From there he plans to start investing in the stock market. In the next scene, his brother Viren Shah (Sohum Shah) is beaten up by many people for not returning the money loaned from the market. Hemant as the elder brother assured the man to return the money with interest. As he planned and invested the money on stocks he earned a huge profit out of it, which he wasn’t able to earn in the job of 3 years.

After investing many times in the stock market and getting profit out of it, he decides to take the membership of BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) to eliminate the brokerage charge in between the transactions. The love of his life Priya Patel (Nikita Dutta) was getting forced to get married early, as Hemant was unable to fulfill the demands of the Priya’s father because of his poor condition.

The cinematography by Vishnu Rao is fantastic and the writers has done a great job with the script but as the time was limited for the movie the entire movie is focused basically on the character of a middle-class man and not very detailed description about the events and the challenges he faced. If compared to any other movie, this movie shows much about the personal character of a broker after reaching hights but the events are not in a very detailed manner but due to the lack of time, the movie neglected the events that happened in history. As the movie directors had to change the songs that were already chosen for the movie into Yalgaar by AJAY NAGAR (Carryminati). The song placement is not very good but it gives an impact on the movie as a rising star. The writers have also edited the script in a dramatic and filled with entertainment. Some scenes of the movie are unrelatable and been fast-forwarded because of the congested timing of the movie.
