“Campus 2 Corporate” at SRM University

Aiming to build a bridge between the academic and corporate world, the 8th edition of “Campus 2 Corporate” which is a management event was organised by The Faculty of Management, SRM Universityat Kattankulathur campus during the month of September and first week of October 2017. The welcome address by Dr.V.M.Ponniah, the dean of the institution was carried forward by Various competitions like Business Plan, Best Manager, Debate, Case Study, Business Quiz, Short Film, Literature, Adzap, Moot Court, Professional Walk, and Business Auction of this event provided an opportunity to showcase the talents of students from BBA, MBA, B.Tech. and Law along with the various workshops on the functional domains such as Finance, HR, Operations and Marketing organised by the event’s coordinator Dr.S.C.Rajan Daniel. To add on to the managerial knowledge of students Experts from the Industry shared their experiences and learnings at the event.
Mr.Karl-Alexander Seidel, General Manager Supplier Management, Logistics & Quality Management, Daimler India Commercial Vehicle – Bus Plant, Oragadam highlighted the importance of Internship and Project work. Mr.A.RajanBabu, CEO & Director HR at Arghaa HR Technologies explained the need of interpersonal relationship. Dr.T.P.Ganesan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, SRM University appreciated the students for their achievements and advised them to focus on future endeavors. Ms.Binilda, event’s student organizer, II MBA proposed the vote of thanks.Ms.Vijayalakshmi, Ms.SuriyaBanu, and Ms.R.Kirthana of II MBA were awarded Certificates of Appreciation for being placed in the dream company “Amazon” for highest salary 12 lakhs per annam ,Mr.Manojprasadh , II MBA for securing all India 3rd Rank in National Creativity Aptitude Test (NCAT) in which IIM and IITs also participated and Mr.Amarnath Menon, II BBA who won in National Bike Race.
