International Conference at SRM Institute of Science & Technology

A three days International Conference On Theoretical and Experimental Advances in Civil Engineering (ICONTEACE – 2018) from 10 to 12 May, 2018 was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, SRM Institute of Science and Technology at Kattankulathur Campus with the support of Ultratech Cement Ltd and in association with Indian Concrete Institute, The Institute of Engineering and Technology, Builders Association of India and Association of Consultants in Civil Engineering.Various big shot names like MIDAS, Bentley, Adopter, Indian Bank, Utracon, Global Icon contributed as the major sponsors of the conference..

The conference started with a grace of invocation and was followed witha welcome address by the Convener of the Conference Dr. K.S. Satyanarayanan, Dr. T.P. Ganesan, Pro V.C (P&D) gave the presidential address. Proceedings of the conference were released by the Dignitaries and Dr. C. Muthamizhchelvan, Director (E&T) honored all the guests. The Chief guest, Dr. N. Gopalakrishnan, and the Guest of Honour, Mr. C.Y. Shivaji, addressed the gathering by appreciating the theme of the conference and sharing an insight on its benefits.

The Chief Guest Dr. Nithin Kumar Tripathi, Director,Special Degree Programs, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, addressed the gathering and the Vice President and Head, EDRC Residential Buildings, L&T, Mr. C.Y. Shivaji also expressed his views and inputs as the special guest of the Conference.
