Mythos 2019, the first-ever intercollegiate event

Mythos 2019, the first-ever intercollegiate event conducted by the Department of English of M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, was hosted on 2 nd February by the English Club Athenium. 

Their maiden effort received an overwhelming response with more than 150 participants from 20+ arts, science and engineering colleges that had taken part in the competitions held. There were events like Pot Pourri, Just A Minute, Channel Surfing, Shipwreck, and Stand-up comedy.

The events were judged by renowned names in the field. Potpourri was judged by the TEDx curator, Rahul Bajaj, and Mehul Parikh, a video producer and freelance filmmaker.

The shipwreck was judged by Pranav Rathi, who is the Customer Success manager of a company and was an active participant of such events during college along with Shorab, founder of Loyola's Club of performing arts who also judged Channel surfing along with Nikhil Nair, an aspiring Actor. Stand up comedy was judged by Guru Nicketan, the stand-up comedian and the Meme creator of Nicketronix. Just a minute was judged by Siddhanth KD, the CO-founder of Warhorse.

The winners were awarded interesting prizes. The students of SSN College of engineering swept away most of the awards from the culturals.
