National Conference of Emerging Trends In Entrepreneurship, Business Management and Social Sciences @AUMP

Keeping in view the constantly changing world, the transformational business environment and the stupefying dynamic of the management realm, Amity Business School, Gwalior successfully inaugurated its National Conference on the Emerging Trends in Entrepreneurship, Business Management and Social Sciences.

The extolling presence of the chief guest Mr Sunjeev Roy and the guest of honor, Mr Sudeep Gupta made quite a pleasing impression on the audience as they took to pen and paper to prepare copious notes.

As customary, the session commenced with a prayer to the goddess of wisdom and the opening remarks of the Vice-Chancellor of the university, where a lot was voiced about the need of the day being sustaining a business. A few of the reasons behind business failure were also pointed out. Aim Big, Think Big, was the quote given by the VC, he also stated that luck matters, one should learn from failure but hard work is the key. The beauty of Entrepreneurship could only be enjoyed via a keen eye for opportunities.

To make the environment more conducive for the young business-oriented minds the chief guest, Mr Sundeep Roy took to the podium and enriched the audience with some really inspiring words. Being a key expert on higher education, European Union Public Diplomacy in India through Policy and Outreach Partnership he emphasized the importance of experience. Despite 50% of labor force being from India, innovation is nowhere.

In his presentation he sketched the themes like, 6 generations of innovation, Principles of innovation, the 3D criteria, development, diffusion and direction, the competencies, mind-sets, core literacies and how essential it is to be knotted with social sciences. The narration of his meeting with Richard Branson was the epitome of motivation and by the end of his delivery, the amazed and thrilled audience couldn’t help but applaud.

The guest of honor, Mr Sudeep Gupta, who is the head of Business Development and Sales for CARS-24 and also an alumnus of Amity Noida, took the keen listeners through the basics of Entrepreneurship and subtly highlighted the difference between it and “Intrapreneurship”, the key definition which is leading a team from within an organization as a senior leader.

He also stressed upon the prominence of learning a foreign language. His oration underlined the subjects such as common traits of entrepreneurship, how to kick start a business, canvas model of business, elements that lead to success, and the eminence of timing. He even gave the assemblage a virtual of the organization he works for, CARS-24 and the various strategies followed by them. He concluded his presentation by saying, ‘Know When To Back Down and Know When To Step Up’.

Out of some glorious 83 research papers, 49 got shortlisted and published in the “Book Of Proceedings” which was released today by the galaxy of luminaries present throughout the meet. The inaugural session culminated with the Pro-Vice Chancellor presenting the mementos to the chief guest and Director of Amity Business School presenting it to the guest of honor. The final allusion of the conference was the incessant need for lubricating mutative ideas to determine the solutions to existing problems.
