SRMIST kabbadi team wins tournament

Kabbadi (men) team of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) have emerged victorious in Tamilnadu Inter University Kabaddi Men Tournament organised by Vel Tech Institute of Science and Technology (Veltech IST).
The tournament took place from 9 to 10 October. Sources say, the final match happened between SRMIST and Veltech IST, and SRMIST emerged winner with a score of 74. Veltech scored 16.
The league match between SRMIST and Madras University ended a tie with both scoring 34. The league match between SRMIST and Anna University (Chennai) saw the former emerging victorious with a score of 74.
Earlier, SRMIST defeated Karpagavinayaga IST from Coimbatore with a score of 47 in quarter finals match of the same tournament.
