SRMIST women TT team emerges victorious

It was performing time again for women table tennis team of SRM Institute of Technology (SRMIST) as they have emerged winners in south zone Inter University Table Tennis Women Tournament for 2019-2020.

SRMIST defeated Krishna University (AP) with a score of 3-0 in the quarter-finals of south zone tournament. In the semi-final round of the same tournament SRMIST emerged winner by defeating University of Madras with a score of 3-2 and in the finals, SRMIST won over Osmania University with a score of 3-2.

SRMIST women table tennis team is now qualified for taking part in All India Inter University Table Tennis Tournament for Women which will be held at Chithara University in Solan in Himachal Pradesh from 25 to 27 December after emerging victorious in the south zone tournament.

Other teams also qualified for All India Inter University tournament are Osmania University, University of Madras and University of Calicut which have won runners up, third place and fouth place in the south zone tournament.
