Boomi Pooja performed for construction of Pharma Building

Boomi-Pooja was performed to mark the start of the construction of Pharma Building on thrusday, which will be an annexe to Medical Centre, Physiotherapy Unit, Opthalmic Unit besides an active Mobile medical van.
You may be aware that Sevalaya, for the past 31 years, extending the services to the rural poor through its Medical Centre, named after Mahatma Gandhi. It is to be noted that the free services are availed by the villagers and benefit. Over 150 patients avail this every day.
As an additional major initiative, Boomi Pooja was performed for a full-fledged Pharmacy building, which is an annexe to our Main Medical Centre. The function was graced by the General Manager, Wolters Klurwer,, Sevalaya’s Corporate supporter.
Mr. Raju Vaidyanathan, Managing Director, ELM Solutions participated as Chief Guest to the event. In his brief address in the function, he expressed his happiness for the opportunities given to them to contribute to the cause. Further he appreciated the children for their performing cultural.
As a notable event of todays event was 40 Volunteers from the Corporate visited, participated and performed Compound wall painting, which was also a gesture by the Corporate.
Earlier, Mr. V. Muralidharan, Founder and Managing Trustee, Sevalaya, welcomed the guests. Mrs. Annapoorna, Trustee, proposed vote of thanks.
