Girls perform better than boys in NBSE 10th, 12th exams

NBSE Result 2020 has been released and Abhi Chakraborty of Holy Cross Higher Secondary School in Dimapur secured the first position in the HSLC Exam for this year.

Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) conducted High School Leaving Certificate Exam (HSLC, 10th standard) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Exam (HSSLC, 12th standard) exams recently.

The exams began on 13 February and ended on 4 March. About 22,393 candidates appeared for HSLC exam this year while the number of those appearing for HSSLC exam was 15,461 this year.

NBSE Result 2020 was declared on 30 May by about afternoon. The enthusiasm of the candidates stood at all time highlevels. They hurried to know their score soon after NBSE Result 2020 was made public.

It is interesting to note that there was a talk about the results being released early. The board has released the result online.

For students the declaration of results is very important. It is based on these results that they can plan their entry into the next stages of education. Entry into graduation needs a pass in plus-two and an entry into plus-one needs a pass in 10th exams.

Candidates can go to the official website of NBSE at ‘http://www.nbsenagaland.com/‘ and soon after the required page downloads they can click the link ‘Examination Results 2020 (30/05/2020).

After the link is clicked, another page with url ‘http://www.nbsenagaland.com/results.htm‘ is downloaded. Students will find two links on this page again namely ‘HSSLC 2020 (Gazette)’ and ‘HSLC 2020 (Gazette)’

Candidates willing to see NBSE Result 2020 for 12 standard must click ‘HSSLC 2020’ while those willing to see the result of 10th exams have to click ‘HSLC 2020.’

NBSE Result 2020 showed that Abhi Chakraborty got the first position in the 10th class exam this year by scoring 590 marks and getting a percentage of 98.33%.

The second position went to Palak Baid of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School in Dimapur with a score of 83 marks and a percentage of 97.17%.

Going further into the NBSE Result 2020, Anushka Bhattacharjee got first position in the science stream with a marks of 476 and a percentage of 95.20%. Anushka is from Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School in Dimapur.

The second position in the same stream went to MD. Chand from Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School in Dimapur with a score of 463 and a pass percentage of 92.60%.
