Also, she added that her party has demanded that the backlog of reserved-category government positions be filled, but that neither the Centre nor state governments in Uttar Pradesh or other states have heeded its call for action.

From the current academic year, 2021-2022, the All-India Quota Scheme will include a 27 percent quota for OBCs and a 10 percent reservation for economically vulnerable groups.
