M V Hospital for Diabetes inks pact with Cairo University

M V Hospital for Diabetes in Chennai has signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Cairo University in Egypt. Sources from M V Hospital said the MoU was for conducting a three-week diabetic foot salvage fellowship for doctors from middle east.

The fellowship aims to improve the skills of doctors in preventing amputations due to diabetes. Dr. Vijay Viswanathan, head and chief diabetologist of M V Hospital and Dr. Mohammed Sharkawy, professor of vascular and endovascular surgery from Cairo University signed the pact on behalf of both the organizations.
