Colours are an essential part of our life. They can be fun, they can be inspiring and also are known to have healing powers also. Whether you are planning to paint a new house, work place, shop or wardrobe, every talk ends with a color question, especially when it is long believed that colors can dramatically affect our moods, feelings and emotions.  One of the best way to experiment colors is with walls. The analysis of colours and their impact on us is given below:

Blue
The color of sky and the ocean, blue is perceived as a very calming color. It is known to lower blood pressure and help steady one’s breathing. While blue rooms are relaxing to lounge in, it must be balanced with warm hues for the furnishing and fabrics.

Yellow
Yellow captures the joy of sunshine and evokes liveliness. It is an excellent color choice for work place, kitchens and dining rooms as it brightens your mood and increases energy.

White
White gives a feeling of purity, innocence and cleanliness. Painting your walls white or off-white is a great way to make the place look more spacious and open. White is an easy option that goes with every color.

Green
One of the most restful colors, green relieves stress and offers a sense of comfort. Painting your walls green gives a natural, outdoorsy feel. It is also believed to bring in prosperity, making it a great choice for home and work place.

Purple
Want your rooms to look cozy and inviting? Purple is a great choice. It is a rich dramatic color associated with luxury and creativity. An engaging royal color, purple is known to create romantic and mystic vibes. Lighter versions of purple like Lavender and Lilac are better options for the walls as they are light and restful.

Red
Red is linked with both love and war. While it stirs up excitement, it can also raise heart beat and blood pressure. Therefore, Red is a color best if used cautiously. Since red brings in the feeling of socialising, it is suggested to use this color for social rooms than bed rooms.

Orange
Sharing red’s energising aspects, orange is a great color to exercise around. It is generally playful and stimulates appetite. So next time thinking to paint your fitness rooms, orange can serve the purpose.

Pink
Long believed as a feminist color, pink is also linked to childhood and kindness. It has a sweet and innocent appeal that can calm anger and aggression. Lighter pinks are great for children’s rooms as they promote feelings of love and playfulness.

Black
Black is often described as the strongest of all colors. While not a good idea to paint as a main color, every room needs a touch of black to ground the color scheme and give it depth.

Brown
A color associated with earth and trees, brown gives a reliable and wholesome feeling. For a heart that falls for nature, an outdoorsy feel can be created indoor by pairing brown with green. Brown also helps in creating rustic look.

Color choice is a very personal matter. Choosing the color that makes you feel happy is what at the end color-mood connection all about. So if you want a color to bring in happy vibes, walls are your go-to option.
