Eight special trains for festival of lights

Passengers who could not buy reserved tickets for going home this festival of lights need not worry. Southern Railway has something special in store for them. Travellers can just reach the station and buy the ticket and get into them to get to their home station, thanks to unreserved special trains.
Sources point out that Southern Railway will be running eight unreserved special trains and they are listed below:
Train No.06055/06056 Tambaram – Tirunelveli – Tambaram Ureserved specials (4 nos)
With a composition of 15 general second class coaches and two luggage cum brake vans, Train No.06055 Tambaram – Tirunelveli unreserved special will leave Tambaram at 9.30 am on 3 and 5 November (Saturday and Monday) via Chengalpattu, Melmaruvathur, Tindivanam, Villupuram, Vridhachalam, Ariyalur, Srirangam, Tiruchchirappalli, Manaparai, Dindigul, Kodaikkanal Road, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Satur and Kovilpatti to reach Tirunelveli at 9.30 pm the same day. In the return direction, Train No.06056 Tirunelveli – Tambaram unreserved special will leave Tirunelveli at 9.30 am on 4 and 7 November (Sunday and Wednesday) via Kovilpatti, Satur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Kodaikkanal Road, Dindigul, Manaparai, Tiruchchirappalli, Srirangam, Ariyalur, Vridhachalam, Villupuram, Tindivanam, Melmaruvathur, and Chengalpattu to reach Tambaram at 10.15 pm the same day.
Train No.06053/06054 Tambaram – Coimbatore – Tambaram Unreserved Specials ( 4 nos)
With a composition of two second class chair car coaches, 12 general second class coaches and two luggage cum brake vans, Train No.06053 Tambaram – Coimbatore unreserved special will leave Tambaram at 7.45 am on 3 and 5 November (Saturday and Monday) via Egmore, Perambur, Tiruvallur, Arakkonam, Sholingur, Walajah Road, Katpadi, Gudiyattam, Ambur, Vaniyambadi, Jolarpettai, Morappur, Salem, Erode, Uttukuli, Tiruppur and Pilamedu to reach Coimbatore at 6.00 pm the same day. In the return direction, Train No.06054 Coimbatore – Tambaram Unreserved Special will leave Coimbatore at 10.00 am on 4 and 7 November (Sunday and Wednesday) via Pilamedu, Tiruppur, Uttukuli, Erode, Salem, Morappur, Jolarpettai, Vaniyambadi, Ambur, Gudiyattam, Katpadi, Walajah Road, Sholingur, Arakkonam, Tiruvallur, Perambur and Egmore to reach Tambaram at 8.30 pm the same day.
