The Girl on the Train

As the movie is based on the novel of British author Paula Hawkins. The girl on the train is a thrilling psychotic novel published in 2015 in England, the novel went viral after coming into the market. It shook the basis of the crime writing industry and later that year topped as a best seller. The book was mostly about a divorced, miscarriage, alcoholic woman suffering from memory loss. The book was so amazing that the director Tate Taylor came up with a movie based on the novel in 2016. Emily Blunt as the lead actress.
But on 26 FEB 2021, the remake, or we can say that the Bollywood version of the movie has come to the OTT platforms directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. With Parineeti Chopra as the lead actress replacing Emily Blunt.
You will witness Shekhar Kapoor (Avinash Tiwary) attorney married to Mira Kapoor (Parineeti Kapoor) in the direction of Ribhu Dasgupta and the cinematography of Tribhuvan Babu Sadineni on Netflix.
As the movie released in the year 2016 in New York, and considered to be the best of that time but still didn’t match the same experience that was explained in the book. And now as the viewers expected the movie to be very great, their experience was ruined.

THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN (2021)
As It was expected to be the psychotic thrilling movie in the direction of Ribhu Dasgupta, but again the viewers have to face the unexpected disappointment. At the starting of the movie, it is shown that a girl with a guy she loved and get married to, is pregnant and they live happily. One unfortunate day they met with the accident (the accident was a small one but still they were in the pile of blood) and they both get injured and the girl loses her child.
Shekhar Kapoor divorces Mira Kapoor because of another woman in his life, then the girl becomes aimless, depressed, alcoholic and due to the head injury in the car accident, she faces a permanent memory loss problem.
As she is shown loner in the movie then she starts traveling in trains and buses just to see people from the windows to imagine and interpret their lives and compare them with her’s.
One day she finds a girl Nushrat (Aditi Rao Hydari) and imagined her life is being perfect. And one-day Nushrat got murdered and her dead body is found in the middle of the forest.
The police investigations lead them to Mira, but as Mira is a memory patient she doesn’t remember anything. She started to investigate the murder mystery by herself. Rest you can watch on Netflix.
It is even better than this one and if possible you can go through the original novel by Paula Hawkins.
