The first season shoots three men fighting over Meera whereas in the second season four have kept an eye on her. That is a progression between the two seasons including higher production values being the other factor.
The Meera of season two is completely different from that of season one. She is more confident, more assertive, and self-assured than the sacrificing housewife. But the only common thing is she continues being in with the sexist men.
And that’s quite unclear and is seen in a different manner by different people whether being with men is her weakness or that the men she meets are offensive.
At the end of the two seasons, Meera seeks to be vulnerable, brave, confident, having hidden strengths but that’s not actually there. In a way, it becomes independent and discovering herself she is always in search of her comfort and has almost all the time taken a wrong route to her beautiful destination.
