Zingbi opens designer store in Chennai

Zingbi, the first of its kind multi-designer store which claims to provide an unparalleled shopping experience for the discerning diva opens its outlet in Gopalapuram Chennai recently.
The exclusive store was inaugurated by actress and singer Andrea Jeremiah. The multi-designer store showcases the work of some of the country’s most accomplished designers and talented aspiring designers. The collections in the store are refreshed every month and Zingbi boast it as its USP.
The store is conceptualized and founded by two professionals Mr. Mohan, a techie and the co-founder, Dr R Karthikeyan, a Clinical Psychologist, Management Consultant as well as a writer.
“Premium designer fashion buying in Chennai is limited to KNK Road and a few places and as Chennai has a bit of catch up to do in terms of designer fashion., Zingbi is the answer offering luxury shopping spread over 7000 sq. ft. across three floors with ample car parking,” says Dr R Karthikeyan.
Zingbi offers designer wear for all occasions for women and girls; they are free to choose from ethnic to contemporary and from Indo-western to western plus the Bridal Wear. Apart from that the designer store provides a home to various accessories such as Belts, Jewellery, Clutches and Handbags. Availability of hair accessories and footwear gives a finishing touch to the Zingbi collection that begins from 7500 INR. The store also has a tech platform that holds quality updated information about designers and fashion wear for women under one roof and disseminates it through their mobile app and its social channels.
Commenting on the customization, Dr Karthikeyan said that research shows aspirational shift for middle-class Indians towards designer wear as opposed to off the shelf wear segment making it is easy for them to embrace latest designer fashion that too in a customized way. We have made a state – of – the – art video conference facility where customers can interact with our empanelled designers in India to get their customized outfit. They also can interact with our designers through text chat from the comfort of their homes with the mobile app”.
