SRMIST team wins the match

There is happy news for SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) on the sports front. The volleyball team of SRMIST won Thiru N. Muthiah Ambalam Memorial state level inter collegiate volleyball men tournament.

The tournament happened from 15 to 17 August and was organised by American College Madurai. SRMIST team won the finals by defeating STC team from Pollachi with a score of 25-20,22-25,25-23,25-20.

SRMIST team’s Srikanth was adjudged the best player. In the quarter finals of tbis tournament SRMIST team defeated Gandhigram University from Dindugal with a score of 25-7, 25-18.
