Each of the five trains, which worked from Anand Vihar, will presently run from Old Delhi station till further requests, the sources said Sunday. Home Minister Amit Shah prior Sunday had said the Center would give 500 railroad coaches to Delhi to fulfill the need for emergency clinic beds for Covid-19 patients.
The Railways has just conveyed 54 such coaches in the support stop of the Shakurbasti station and is intending to send the rest of the coaches on the seven foundations of Anand Vihar station, sources said.
Three trains from Anand Vihar station were to Motihari, Raxaul, and Muzaffarpur in Bihar and two trains were to Ghazipur city in Uttar Pradesh.
